- Design, code, test and deliver software to standardize and simplify cloud application development and deployment in private and public cloud
- Design, code, test and deliver software to automate manual operational work
- Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis in cloud by utilizing monitoring and APM tools
- Engage with development team throughout the life cycle to help develop software for reliability and scale, ensuring minimal refactoring or changes
- Identify application patterns and analytics in support of better deployment optimization and operation automation
- Design self-healing and resiliency patterns
- Design automated software and product upgrades, change management, and release management solutions
- Coach or manage teams as applicable
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and ship new features.
- Projects will include new product/feature launches, enhancements, experience redesign and tech stack migration using agile methodology.
- Participate in day to day activities involving design, development, test support, deployment.

- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- 5-7 years of experience with Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
- Understanding of architecture and design across systems
- Prior experience building internet scale web service/API platforms from the ground up.
- Strong hands on experience in GoLang, Java, Spring boot, C#, .net, KAFKA, no-SQL databases like CouchDB, MongoDB and Knowledge of industry wide technology trends and best practices are required
- Experience with content management systems like Bloomreach.
- Strong understanding of Java concurrency, concurrency patterns, experience building thread safe code.
- Expert level experience designing and building REST web services using Java @ internet scale.
- Hands on experience with Azure AKS and other Azure services.
- Strong understanding of OOP & SOA principles, Enterprise design patterns and industry best practices.
- Experience with building messaging, event-driven architectures.
- Experience with high volume, mission critical applications.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Thorough knowledge of Agile Methodologies.
- Experience with tuning high-volume applications.
- Strong understanding of domain driven design, Microservices patterns and architecture. Experience with Spring Boot Web Services on cloud platforms.
- Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
- Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
- Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
